Report Writing – Pasifika Water Set

Talofa Lava,

We are learning write reports.

this week we are writing reports about natural disasters. This week I have been doing my natural water set and I have been talking about erosion and how it is caused and if you want more information you could listen to my screen cast below but an interesting fact about erosion is that an erosion can erase part of land and when you go to the beach you should watch out but now you have the authority to listen to my report writing.

Listen carefully!

Hope you understand what a erosion is!

Suffixes – Phobia

Malo Le Soifua,

We are learning to research and define suffixes.

This week we are doing suffixes that end with phobia. What I’ve been doing this week is researching suffixes that end with phobia because my teacher gave us an easy task, and it was just copy the drawing she had put in and just match the suffix and lets just say it didn’t really work out for me you see I was determined that I could create my own according to my perspective making my work a little harder and so I managed to finish it on Wednesday but I wanted to post it today and there it is my suffixes according to my knowledge.

It’s perfect isn’t it!

Hope you enjoyed today’s blog, see you in the next one, Peace.

Idioms – T2

Kia ora,

We are learning to connect idioms.

This week we have been doing Idioms. What I did is I connected the idioms and I took the words from above and filled the blank space on The lines on the left just so it makes sense and just for your information idioms are some type of joke and I really love reading and hearing idioms and some are just interesting but anyways you can just admire my work.

Hope its good!

Have you heard a Idiom before?

Ships Captain – Reading Response

Kia ora,

We are learning to make connections between text and life experiences.

This week we have been doing our Reading response. What I did is my teacher gave us a google slide that we had to copy then fill it out and this is how it turned out in the end and I’ve learnt many things from this and three things I learnt is that Turangawaewae is a place to stand because I thought Turangawaewae was just some ordinary place infact it is a special place according to google, but the second thing I’ve learnt is a divination and a divination is a sort of thing that directs you to the closest water and last but not least I learnt what a bach was, and so a bach is a small kind of house and I’m pretty sure it is for 1 – 2 max and with nothing else to say you could admire my slides.

Hope you like it!

Are you a captain or your ship?

Idioms

Malo Le Soifua,

We are learning to complete as many Idioms.

This week I have been doing my Idioms and what I did is I received a slide from my teacher and recreated it by matching the idioms and making it beautiful of course and Idioms to me is a personal joke but anyways what I want you to do is admire my beautiful work and so now you can admire my work.

Inquiry – Water Set

Kia ora,

we are learning top discover reasons on why disasters happen?

As you can see this slideshow is about natural disasters. What I did is my teacher gave us a slide of natural disasters and we had to pick at least 2 then write what is it, how did it happened and what caused it and the ones I chose were the cyclone yasa that happened in Fiji and the erosion that happened in Auckland beaches but I mostly wrote about the Auckland erosion and I just want to tell you how an erosion is caused. So an erosion is caused when its natural force(wind & water) transports the earth materials such as rocks, soil and sediments and me personally I have never faced any natural disaster and I am telling I have never experienced a natural disaster but anyways the reason why I want to share you this is I want you to be aware and so here is my beautiful work.

Comment a Natural Disaster!

Prefixes

Kia 0ra,

We are learning to make connections between the text and our life experiences
This week we have been swimming but the purpose of this blog is the work I have managed to do throughout the time that we had in class and as you can see today’s work is Prefixes. what I did is I created a google drawing and wrote my prefixes and that was basically it and so the prefix for this week was “bi-” and as you can see i have wrote words that begin with “bi-“, anyways I am gonna give you the chance to admire my beautiful creation.
Hope you like it:

What have you been doing this week?

Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu

Talofa, Malo Le Soifua,

We are learning to comment on other schools

As you can see on the map of New Zealand there are three marks, marking three schools including Edmund Hillary school and I will tell you the schools in just a moment but what we did as a class is we supported the other two schools by commenting on their remarkable work and no questions asked some of them were outstanding and if one of those students are reading this right now I want you to know that you guys are doing good.

Anyways as I am left to say the red mark represents Edmund Hillary school, the green mark represents Glen innes school and the yellow mark represents Paroa school (Greymouth) and so we have gathered the information that we needed from the beginning giving you the time to find these three marks and even admire our country.

There is the link to the My Maps on the photo!

Where is your school?

Goals T1

Talofa Lava,
